Meet Ottawa's Home Accessibility Experts
A Personal Mission to Transform Lives Through Adaptive Living
Adaptive Living was born from personal experience and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those with mobility or cognitive issues. Co-founder Randy Fontaine’s journey began with the tragic loss of his brother in a fall accident and was further shaped by his experiences caring for his mother and sister.
“Watching my loved ones’ decline and feeling helpless, with few resources to support their care, was incredibly difficult,” Randy shares. “The countless hours spent adapting our home and their surroundings made me realize how vital it is to create environments that allow people to live with dignity, independence, and joy, despite the challenges they face.”
This personal mission evolved into Adaptive Living’s core purpose: to create safe, accessible, and comfortable living environments that enhance independence while upholding the dignity of individuals facing mobility or cognitive challenges. We are committed to ensuring that everyone can live confidently in their homes, with peace of mind and the respect they deserve.
At Adaptive Living, we don’t just modify houses – we empower individuals to embrace their homes as places of comfort and possibility. Our team works tirelessly to transform living spaces, enabling our clients to live fully and confidently, regardless of the obstacles they may face
